Chocolate Fountain Hygiene



We are fastidious about hygiene.

We do not allow double dipping (re-dipping any food back into the chocolate that has been partially eaten) and we always insist on everybody using a fresh skewer each time they dip anything into the fountain. We are used to dealing with all sorts of people so can happily advise people without upsetting anybody. Most people in fact, are happy that we implement this policy as they have not thought about the hygiene implications. Many are surprised that other chocolate fountain companies (that they may have used) have never told them to do this before.

We both hold current Foundation Certificates in Food Hygiene (issued by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health) and have registered and been inspected by the local authority Public Services department.

We have also carried out an HACCP which we adhere to strictly.

On a separate note, we have public liability insurance for £2 million and have also carried out a risk assessment. We regularly test all of our electrical equipment to current regulations (PAT testing).
